Hypothetically The Cowboys can still make the playoffs after being (3-7).  As of right now The Dallas Cowboys are (5-7) coming off of back to back divisional wins against a strong opponent in The Washington Commanders which was a nail biter and so entertaining and a big Thanksgiving win against the New York Giants. There are currently 5 games left in the regular season and The Cowboys odds of making the playoffs are slim but not impossible.  Dak Prescott through 8 weeks of the 2024 NFL season has put up really ugly and unexpectedly bad numbers and The Cowboys record shows it too. Dak currently has 1,845 passing yards, 10 Touchdowns, 8 Interceptions, a 63.7 Completion %, and a 84.5 QBR. If the season ended today his QBR would be the worst of his entire career and his completion % would be the 2nd worst of his career only slightly above 62.9% which he posted 7 years ago during his sophomore slump.
